Resource Recovery Stakeholder Meetings and Documents
08 May 2012 Update
One meeting has been held regarding this review and work is underway to progress this work. Given the low turnout of attendees at the first meeting, we have decided that regional meetings will be held so more people can be involved and have input. It is planned that meetings will be held in Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin with locations in the North Island still to be determined. Dates of meetings and locations will be emailed out to stakeholders and placed on the EXITO website very soon.
The Resource Efficiency Qualification Review will be undertaken separately to the rest of the Resource Recovery Sector reviews. The Resource Efficiency qualifications were newly registered in August 2011 and NZQA have asked that we include these as part of the TRoQ Resource Recovery review as this is the Sector that they fit under. Given the work that has taken place over the last couple of years, we are able to progress this project a lot sooner. Quite a bit of preparatory work has commenced and proposed meeting dates will be sent out shortly to the Industry Advisory Group.
